For assignment 1, we were required to do a case study on building services in a group of 6. We selected the Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) building.

I developed a better understanding of the required services in a building through our site visits, specifically fire systems which was my part. The technician of the building gave us a tour and answered any questions we had which greatly helped. Through this task, I also learned about how buildings had to be in compliance to the UBBL and the importance of the By-Laws.
