ARTWORK REPRESENTING ME
I
In this first assignment, we were to discover our inner self and translate it into an artwork using design elements and principles. We had to generate ideas from a pokemon character be it through preference, characteristic or attitude and relate it back to the artwork.
I have discovered to become more experimental and explore the various possibilities in idea translation; by having one concept but having the ability to create various different results with it. Thus, developing a design process. Also, the ability to create a 3-D artwork introduces me to choice of materials and workmanship.

II
SMALL SHELTER

In groups of 3, we were tasked to create a shelter to stay in for the night. The shelter has to be able to fit 3 people.
Through creating 1:1 scale of the shelter, I have learned many things. One of which is the scale and proportion in relation to the human body. Practical aspects of a shelter such as lighting and choice of materials and most importantly designing something that is multi-functional and stable.

III
SPACE FOR THE SELF
We were tasked to create a dream space for the self. The design will be based on a conceptual narrative and consist of 2-3 spaces that takes into account user experience.
I discovered the importance of a strong conceptual narrative in developing one's design. It is the the foundation of a design and if not developed well, will result in a mediocre space. Furthermore, the realisation of architecture creating the space rather than the things it is furnished with. The ability to create a space that depicts the feeling you want to show through spatial quality.
